Our People

Our Partners

Our Partners are Professionals in the Lower Limb Device Industry

We work directly with prosthetists, prosthetists orthotists, O&P (Orthotics & Prosthetics) clinics and staff to customize each patient's prosthetic device.

Blatchford's team collaborates with prosthetists one-on-one to help ensure the product we produce is achieving the desired results for each patient.

The Role of the Prosthetist

Prosthetists work closely with the patient, the patient's physician, their physical therapist and Blatchford, the manufacturer of their prosthesis. They also work closely with the caregiver, family or friends of the patient.

The Role of Blatchford

Blatchford has certified prosthetists and clinical specialists on staff that visit O&P clinics and can assist clinic employees with product selection or provide on-site demonstrations of our different products. Our clinical specialists can assist with answering prosthetists or staff questions about fitting, or patient prescriptions, as well as helping train staff on setup and programming of Blatchford's high tech devices.

Our prosthetists and clinical specialists enjoy sharing the newest and latest Blatchford prosthetic training courses, industry white papers, research papers and clinical evidence with O&P clinics nationwide.

Blatchford believes that the more knowledge we share with clinics worldwide, the better equipped prosthetists will be when selecting the best lower limb prosthetic for their patients.

Our clinical team of prosthetists are assigned to different regions in the US. They visit prosthetists offices to provide them with hands-on training, or to help them fit or customize a product for a patient.

Our Clinical Specialists assist each O&P office with:

  • Product selection based on the needs of the patient

  • Prescription guidance

  • Fitting

  • Setup and programming of devices

  • Continuing education classes for licensure and technical support

Blatchford clinical specialists share the latest clinical research and updates with prosthetists and staff - helping them keep up-to-date on the latest in the advancements in lower limb prosthetics.

Founded in London in 1890, the Blatchford name is synonymous with prosthetic innovation. Blatchford has a long history of firsts and continues to be widely recognized for our commitment to innovation.
